Key findings
- Imagery and memories clustered in crossovers of 1 µV+ lasting 3+ minutes with 15-20 Hz beta
- That crossover pattern was associated with better outcomes
A study of the 'theta/alpha crossover' in alpha-theta neurofeedback, using 182 session graphs from 10 clients. Reports of imagery or memories were more likely during crossovers of at least 1 microvolt lasting three minutes or more with some 15-20 Hz beta present, and that kind of crossover was linked to better treatment outcomes.
