Key findings

  • Most reactive frequencies: mu 8.8 Hz, beta 21.3 Hz
  • Contralateral dominance at C3 for right-foot tasks

A companion study measuring mu and beta changes when healthy adults perform or imagine foot movements, to build a brain-computer interface for rehabilitation. Characteristic mu (about 8.8 Hz) and beta (about 21 Hz) responses were found, with left-hemisphere dominance for right-foot tasks.
