Key findings
- Participants could not tell real from sham feedback
- No trend toward an effect on attention or impulsivity at the interim analysis
- Study stopped early on ethical grounds
A double-blind, sham-controlled study of neurofeedback in students with high impulsivity or inattention scores. An interim analysis after 16 of a planned 30 sessions found no trend toward a benefit over sham on attention or impulsivity measures, so the study was stopped.
