Brodmann Areas, QEEG, sLORETA and More: Let Master Clinicians Guide you from “A to Z-Score”
Intermediate-level QEEG, sLORETA & Z-score training with Thomas Brownback
An essential, intermediate-level workshop for clinicians who want an in-depth understanding of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology — and how to combine that knowledge with the Comprehensive Neurodiagnostic Checklist (CNC-1020) and a psychoeducational test battery to produce detailed QEEG interpretations. You will learn to build fully customized training protocols, with and without Live Z-scores, through extensive hands-on demonstrations, plus practical business tips from a 20+ year neurofeedback practice.
Who is this workshop for?
Practitioners who want to reason about QEEG data from first principles — matching EEG findings to brain structures, functional networks and neuropathology — rather than relying on cookbook symptom-to-protocol pairings.
Educational objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify EEG frequencies and functions at each Brodmann area and neuroanatomical structure.
- Recognize neuropathologies (microvoltages, peak frequencies, asymmetries, coherences) within the International 10-20 System.
- Interpret QEEGs using Brodmann areas, sLORETA and reference databases.
- Use the CNC-1020 to assess and the CTC-1020 to track neurotherapy progress.
- Design fully customized sLORETA training protocols, with and without Live Z-scores.
Blueprint areas
- Neuroanatomy of the Brodmann areas, lobes and gyri
- Neurophysiology and information-processing pathways
- Neuropathologies within the International 10-20 System
- QEEG and sLORETA analysis (power, references, databases)
- The CNC-1020 assessment and CTC-1020 tracking tools
- Customized sLORETA / Live Z-score training protocols
