Key findings
- Each ADHD subtype showed a distinct QEEG pattern
- Intended to help plan neurofeedback and occupational therapy
A 19-channel QEEG study of children with the three ADHD subtypes, using band power, coherence and phase lag to describe each. The combined type showed deficits in delta, theta and alpha; the inattentive type showed excess frontal delta and theta with excess beta coherence; the hyperactive-impulsive type was dominated by slow waves.
