Seven people with migraine used goggles that flash red light alternately into each closed eye at 0.5 to 50 Hz when a headache came on. Of 50 recorded migraines, 49 were rated as helped and 36 as stopped, headaches were shorter for every patient, and in the two people followed for over 18 months the gaps between migraines appeared to lengthen.
