- Protocol
- Beta (16–20 Hz) up, theta (4–8 Hz) down
- Sessions
- 2–3 month summer program
Key findings
- TOVA improved in those who reduced theta
- Parent ratings and WISC-R scores improved
Twenty-three young people aged 8 to 19 with ADHD took part in an intensive summer program rewarding beta while holding theta down. Those who succeeded in reducing theta improved on the TOVA attention test, parents rated behavior as better, and IQ scores on the WISC-R rose.
