- 14 Hz audio-visual entrainment
- Sessions
- 4 weeks of AVE
Key findings
- Depression fell only after real entrainment
- QEEG changed in mood-related regions
Sixteen adults with depression received four weeks of 14 Hz audio-visual entrainment and four weeks of a simulated treatment, in a crossover design. Depression scores fell significantly only after the real entrainment, and QEEG showed changes in brain regions involved in mood regulation.
