Key findings
- Either order normalized most power and coherence abnormalities
- No clear advantage for power-first or coherence-first
- A repeat QEEG is recommended between phases
Twenty head-injury patients were split between training brain-wave power first or coherence first, each with four QEEG-guided protocols. Either order normalized most abnormalities, but each created some new ones in the other measure, so the authors recommend a repeat QEEG after either phase.
