Doerte I. G. Klein, Dipl.-Psychologin (1975), studied Psychology/clinical Psychology at the University Goettingen; she is licensed (cognitive) Psychotherapist for adults and children (1980), licensed specialist for Psychotraumatology and Emergency Psychologist (she was part of/hosted psychologic emergency teams with some major claim events).
Doerte Klein is living and running a private clinic and the “EEG-Biofeedback Trainingszentrum Hannover” in Barsinghausen. Since 2000 she is imbedding Applied Neuroscience/EEG-Biofeedback in a comprehensive psychotherapy approach, also for high performance with sports and artists – applying different Neurofeedback- and Biofeedback-Modalities including qEEG, the newest 19-channel LZT approach, SCP, ILF training, HRV, HEG etc.; application with a variety of symtoms like AD/HD, learning, emotional disorders, depression, migraine, PTBS , also epilepsy, rehabilitation after TBI, coma patients, autism in remote-training. She was one of the first in Europe applying Tele-Neurofeedback, carefully considering aspects of quality management in this field.
Doerte Klein’s theoretical interest in Neurofeedback covers treatment in multimodal treatment-setting, and especially quality-management: 2002 she developed the first german-language curriculum for Applied Neuroscience, since then education including technical training and mentoring for clinicians, educational oriented persons, for high performance, for home-trainer; clinical member of the certification committee of SAN; workshops with credit points from “Psychotherapeuten-Chamber” for ongoing education for PhD’s and MD’s, and accepted with SAN for certification, cross acceptance with german DGBfb (German Association for Biofeedback), talks, workshops on congresses, collaboration with Tom Collura since 2001, with Othmers in the midth of our decade.
